In this exhibition there is the clear intention of recovering matter in its primordial sense: “mass” with its weight, density and texture; that is why Let rise.. alludes to the ideology of cooking recipes, their methods and ways of making; to freshly prepared raw dough from the baker; the one that needs the rest of the yeast so that the magic of chemistry  and time do the job of giving the bread its final shape.

In the same way with clay I have kneaded my small ceramics and built the large soft pieces; where sensuality, soft and soft shapes, of silky and velvety materials are qualities that remain at one point limit_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-1358refbad5c-lofbad5c the appetizing; between the organic and the decorative, where the shape, color and textures make us think of wet forms, of the life contained within.

The entire visual journey  of this exhibition is developed in three colours, white, black and red, the three colors used to designate_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d of life: birth, la  fullness (fertility) and death.
